I've spent this entire week salvaging this corrupted data file and redoing more or less about a months worth of work in a week. Talk about freaking annoying. I suppose the bright side of things is that while it took me the month to do it, I was learning while doing. This last week I can look at as a test. And Hell it feels good. (overlooking the exhaustion from cramming) Finishing touches, and hopefully it can be uploaded by tomorrow. Finished product will be posted here, there and everywhere. But in the mean time, here's a song that makes me happy. Its also an interesting ol' vid...
.. it takes forever for me to actually write anything on here. Not that I'm obliged to any of my readers or lack there of, but I suppose I like to keep in touch with old branches. I actually blog more on myspace than on xanga and livejournal (yes, I have a myspace... 9079102...and even then blogging is sparse). Then there's the little snippets of information/links, pics that I come across that I like to share with people through my tumblr (ninjatengu) yet rarely ever spend the time typing in it, because most of them are kind of self-explanitory. People who know me now know my views and what I think of particular topics of interest. If not, I guess you might be able to extract that info from what I post, and what I've talked about here I suppose.
So upon my quiet return (who knows how long I'll be staying) to xanga, I find the homepage all reduxed and out of whack. wtf, mate? Change is inevitable yet, so I am attempting this alteration, resisting the urge to revert to the "normal" (such a relative term) home page. It took me a couple of minutes to find the link to create a new blog; obviously I found it, but the process was somewhat annoying. Such is the case when learning new things, when getting used to new ideas, with just new things in general. Sure, its a hassle, but it might be for the better. Usually it is. Usually. One thing you can count on about change? Its never monotonous. And I do so love every bit of it.
So this entry completely failed in informing ya'all about what's going on in my life, but I suppose that's how I write. For now. :)
So I know this is long overdue, but, see, I kept pushing off posting this thing.
Up until now, at 3am on a Friday night. Haha, well at least I finally put it up. I'm going to post a real entry with substance though. I swear. And if I swear/promise now, (even if its to no one) I'll end up doing it, cause if I can't live up to my word, what can I live up to?
Anyways, without further ado...
It's our very own commercial for HR 676! Stay tuned for an unsolved mysteries version.. (I'm editing that one right now!)
So the Republican YouTube Debate is just around the corner. Tomorrow, actually (November 28) in Florida. Mirroring the Dems in their debate, every day americans can submit their questions to the presidential candidates. So being the way cool people that we are, we decided that it would be a good idea to ask our question during the Board of Trustees Meetings when almost all the national leaders and representatives from around the country convene in the national office to discuss the future of the organization that represents over 68,000 medical students in the US.
Directed, Recorded, and edited by yours truly. Here's hoping that it gets chosen tomorrow! Cross fingers!
